Effective search engine
positioning begins with thorough keyword analysis. We offer
search engine research that provides you with an excellent
understanding of what keywords will lead to increasing sales
through your web site.
Our analysis
is presented clearly in a spreadsheet so you can easily
determine what keywords, and what combinations of keywords will
contribute most to improving your search engine ranking.
Shown below is the first page of a
worksheet containing 429 keyword phrases pertaining to the
jewelry business.
The phrases are listed in
descending order of the number of times that the phrase was used
in a recent tabulation of searches. This makes it easy for the
web page designer to focus on the most effective phrases first.
The columns to the right are used to
highlight the recurrence of common words in different phrases.
At the top of each column is the total number of phrases that
were used in the database (out of the 429 designated phrases)
that contain the characters shown at an angle at the top of the
column.
For example, "mothers day"
was the top ranked phrase of the 429 we researched in this case
study. The word "mother" (or "mothers") occurred in many more
phrases in our list. In all, there are 30,148 occurrences
of the characters "moth" in the search results we developed.
(The term we were interested in was truncated to allow us to
find variations including singular or plural. Of course, we risk
finding "mother-in-law" using this same approach.)
While the term "engagement rings" was used
considerably fewer times than "mothers day", the word "ring" was
used in a larger number of variations (totaling 32,924 phrases).
Careful consideration of the findings of this kind of analysis
will allow you to tune your web pages to their maximum marketing
performance.
